Refund Policy

Refund requests and related questions should be sent to themargin@buildsoloai.com.
1. Pre-Delivery Refunds
A full refund is available within 48 hours of payment so long as the diagnostic has not been delivered and substantial production time has not yet been committed. To request one, email themargin@buildsoloai.com with the subject line Refund request and include the email address used at checkout.
2. Refunds After Production Begins, Before Delivery
After the initial 48-hour window and before delivery, refunds are handled at The Margin's discretion. Where a refund is granted, it will usually be reduced to reflect work already completed, review already performed, or production time already dedicated to the engagement.
3. No Refund After Delivery
Once the diagnostic package has been delivered by email — including the report PDF, Executive Walkthrough, and 30/60/90-day plan — the service is considered rendered and no refund is available.
4. Disputes of Specific Factual Errors
If you believe a delivered report contains a specific factual error about your business, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will review the issue and may, at our discretion, issue a corrected deliverable or partial credit. This policy does not apply to disagreement with analysis, judgment, prioritization, or advisory conclusions.
5. Chargeback Resolution
Please contact us first. Under the Terms of Service, clients agree to allow 48 hours for direct resolution before initiating a payment card chargeback. Genuine issues can usually be resolved faster through direct communication than through the card network process.
